What 'week' my MacBook is? I want to know because I read anything post 'week 35' shouldn't have the RSD issue.

If you remove your battery and look underneath your MB there are some numbers like AB631...

the 6 means the year and the digits to the right are the week.

Serial number can be found with System Profiler.

You can get your serial number from the About This Mac window (either by clicking the version number under Mac OS X or going into More Info...).

Your serial number gives you the week: 4H6XX... where XX is the week number...

My MacBook is a week 29 build and has had no problems... touch wood!

So basically not all laptops between week 17 and 35 are not necessarily going to experience RSD.
