My girlfriend purchased the iPhone 5 with her discount and I will use it. I chatted with an AT&T rep online. He said I will need to call them and tell them the IMEI and ICCID, before I activate the phone.

I can find the IMEI on the box, but where I can find the ICCID? He said there will be a card contains the ICCID in the box. I don't remember I have that card when I purchased my iPhone 4 from AT&T.

Can anyone provide me with any help?

The ICCID is printed on the sim card. If the sim card is in the phone, go to settings>general>about and the number should be listed there also.

I know that. But in that way I need to boot the device. How can I boot the device and go to General without activate the phone?

I still have my AT&T iPhone 4 boxes....and on the back of them they show both the IMEI and the ICCID numbers.

You can use a paperclip to eject the SIM card and read it right off of the card.
At least you could with a SIM and a micro-SIM.
I haven't seen the nano-SIM yet.

It is also on the box:

Thank you Kevin! I cannot find my iphone 4 box so I checked my iPhone 4S box, which is factory unlocked, there is only the IMEI on it. Hopefully the ICCID will be on the iPhone 5 box.
