iPhone 16 Pro Max How can I get an iPhone 16 Pro Max from the newest batch? [MERGED]

I plan on purchasing an iPhone 16 Pro Max this week, and I wanted to know what are the chances of being able to buy one with the most recent manufactured date, would it be to buy it on Apple.com, or going to a local Apple store near me, in other words who would have the most recent inventory arrivals?

Well, I'm assuming you are rich, I'm not going to pay Apple for an iPhone in 04/2025 when the battery was manufactured on October/November 2024, I plan on keeping the phone at least 2 years, so I would want the newest batch.

For goodness sake, you can keep the damn 16 pro for four or five even six years if you get one that was manufacturing in October / November. I kept my series 12 pro for 4 1/2 years and I could’ve kept another year easily.

I have just tested 4 other iP16PM 1TB. 3 of them have the GH3 panel and 1 has the G9N panel (considered by some as the best one can get).

However, there is barely any difference between the GH3 and the G9N screens: the G9N is even a bit darker and has less vivid colors, in my opinion. (That phone also has a big speck of dust under one of the camera lenses). The manufacture date of all phones is January 2025 (China).

All phones came with iOS 18.3.1 and there are no touch screen issues at all: without or with a screen protector (Belkin UltraGlass 2).

Where do you see the type of panel your iPhone has? Also I just got a 512GB assembled in India, and battery manufactured date is Jan 2025. I don’t know if there is anything manufactured after Jan 2025, if so please let me know.

Picked up a PM this evening. Battery was manufactured in March, zero issues with the touch screen using a Belkin protector installed at the store.
