    I just bought my first mac so I need some help with file converters. I finally have a machine that can tolerate converting files without overheating, and from what I read iSquint was the the shizzle. The website seams to be shut down, how can I get a copy? I downloaded ffmpegx, its running now but the reviews haven't been positive. Thanks!

    Google it. It is still available from one or two download locations (Cnet iirc).

    You could also torrent it since it was free to begin with.

    Wait, what? if you mean I'm suggesting something illegal, its not. iSquint is free. So torrenting free apps isn't illegal right? Visual Hub was paid, so torrenting that is illegal. Plz dont ban me or anything... :rolleyes:

    why were my posts deleted? isquint was free and last i checked you can torrent free programs.....not everything that you can torrent is illegal. for instance, thats how i get linux distros...

    now my question on how to currently obtain visualhub legally is still up for grabs as you can NO LONGER BUY THE PROGRAM

    how can you legally get this program as its uses are very convenient?

    According to today's ThriftMac blog post, both projects are now open-source.

    iSquint lives on as Punyvid

    iSquint = PunyVid
    VisualHub = FilmRedux
