how can I make Adobe Acrobat Updater go away (and never come back)

Hi there,
This Updater is always bouncing around in my dock, demanding attention.
And I don't care about automatic updates for this app.
How can I make it go away??? For good!

Have you tried setting the preference in reader to not auto download updates ?

or click preferences from the updater that runs and remove the tick for check for updates automatically

Yes I've tried what you suggest. Worked for a while, but then the AutoUpdater bounces back.

I think I googled it a long time ago and removed a couple files, walaa no more adobe bloatware
