How can i open up Sim City in a different window

Unless the original programmers put in an option (which it sounds like they didn't) you can't.

Anyways; can you use Spaces? Assuming you have Leopard.

It's a while since I've played this particular game, but I seem to recall that if you hold down the Option or Command key while starting the game up a dialogue box appears giving you a number of options, including a windowed mode.

As I say, it's been a while though so my memory may be playing tricks on me. Worth a try though, I suppose.
