If your computer is running well, there really isn't any need to do a clean install. Apple''s OS is a lot more stable and efficient than Windows. However, if you are set on doing a clean install...

    1) Make sure you have backed up your computer
    2) Make sure you have a USB installer of High Sierra connected to the computer
    3) Boot the computer using Command + R
    4) Select Disk Utility
    5) Select the Macintosh HD drive and select erase
    6) Exit out of Disk Utility and reboot the computer while holding down the option key
    7) Select your USB installer of High Sierra

You can also follow this guide if you prefer.

Just boot command + r, go to disk utility, swipe data, and then select install option. No need to make usb installer for this because you upgraded.

Best way is to create a bootable USB flash drive with the installer on it, and install from that.
