How can I set up an automation to run a specific program and THEN assign a hotkey?

I want to have a global shortcut that opens my twitter window (using the twitter app). How do I set up a workflow for this???

I want to have a global shortcut that opens my twitter window (using the twitter app). How do I set up a workflow for this???

I recently used Automator to launch an application using a "Service" workflow, then assigned a Keyboard Shortcut to the saved "service" in System Preferences; works like a charm. I can open my assigned application no matter what I am doing on my Mac.
