I notice when watching movie at low brightness on my 11 pro max it does not flicker at all compared to my XS max which flickers mostly on viewing movies on low brightness and it was confirmed the supplier of that my XS max as Samsung

I’d want to know too tbh after knowing that BOE doing their dodgy thing. Getting the poorly chinese standard screen instead of the better Korean standard would be rather disappointing.

I believe only Apple would know (with their internal tracking system) as the tell is a hardware design change that we won't be able to see without access to the specific schematics.
