Cracked the back many times and finally the front screen...

I don't want to restore everything because snapchat is apparently taking 5G of my space.. and I don't mind manually pick songs, just wondering if anyone know how I can backup only the photos or somehow import them into the new phone?

Thanks in advance!! :)

What I would do is use either skydrive or Dropbox to upload the camera roll.

Install the app on the new device and sync/download!

Why don't you delete snapchat first, back everything up to iTunes, and then restore in the new phone?

This is probably the best idea. I would backup to icloud instead of itunes though....just b.c it is easier.

But iCloud always tells me how there isn't enough space and photos can't be backed up..

That'll work? I thought I'd have to set the phone to factory setting in order to delete all the app-related files

Yes, it does. In fact, if you go to Settings --> Usage it will list all apps and their usage, you can click on snapchat and from there delete it along with all its data.

It's easy. Just back up your old iPhone via iTunes/iCloud and then recover backup to your new one. I used this method to transfer my data from iPhone 6 to iPhone 7 Plus.

This thread is 3 years old, but that wasn't even what the OP was asking. He didn't want a full backup, just photos.

MediaTrans could do that. You can use it to transfer all photos of old iPhone to PC, and transfer them to new iPhone from PC. It's not troublesome. Very easy and quick.
