How can I turn off August Smartlock notifications in Apple Home?

I have added two August Smartlocks to our Apple Home. They work great with Homekit, but we get way too many notifications. Is there a way to focally suppress the August lock notifications without turning notifications off for Apple Home?

If you long press on devices and click on the setup wheel at the bottom, you can turn off notifications for just that device. Our Level lock is the same with too many notifications. I wish we could turn them off by category (unlocked manually vs through homekit vs through their app).

Another way is the tap the home icon on the top left of the main page, scroll down to home settings, then doors and locks and then the lock you want to modify.
