What the subject line says... I want to connect an iPad 4 to my Samsung monitor so I can see what I'm working on, on my computer monitor.

How would I go about doing this?

I think apple sells a VGA chord for your ipad so you can mirror the display to the computer although it costs like $50. I would look for a 3rd party one. I have an apple tv ($99) which does the same but to my tv and i love it.

What kind of connections are on the monitor. If it has HDMI you can get the digital AV adapter which is 30 pin/lighting connector to HDMI (with a second whichever connection for plugging into power if needed).

There is also a 30 pin to VGA but i'm not sure about lighting to VGA

if it is DVI you would have to find a connector from that to HDMI but the quality might suck
