I still have the iPAD Pro 10.5... and this accessory:

I was wondering what kinds of SSDs (and if any) can be plugged there and be accessed by this IPP and the adapter...

One thing I noticed was that my NTFS pendrive was invisible when plugged. But not the FAT32 ones.

Does that mean the SSD requires to be FAT32 formatted? And what happens if I want to share between the devices a 60 GB video (MKV)?

One last question... what SSD brands can be recognized? I mean PORTABLE SSDS, like this one:

Any restrictions I might encounter?

Not necessarily FAT. exFAT, HFS+, APFS, I think even UDF is supported. Just not NTFS. Take that up with MS if you want and ask them to make it open source

Correct. iOS/iPadOS doesn't recognize NTFS.

Any USB SSD should work fine as long as it is USB, not Thunderbolt.

I don't know about the T7 Touch specifically, you may have to disable its security features to make it work; since the security features require operating system drivers that the iPad can't handle. My Samsung T5 works just fine through the same adapter on an iPad 7th gen, not even an iPad Pro.
