how can you reset an appleid password

How can i reset an appleid for an account that doesnt have access to the email that was used to created the apple id and not sure what they put for their security questions

Probably call them, but the email is the security measure you will most likely need.

Call them. I've read of instances where they handled this by asking security questions other than the ones you see online.

Why not go an edit your earlier post to also correct the error so that someone doesn't accidentally go to that incorrect site?

You have to call them. If you have the credit card on file on hand, it'll make it easier if you don't have the security questions. If not, they're going to delay your request for 24 hours.

Had to go through the mess of resetting my mom's password and questions. ALWAYS add an alternative e-mail address.
