How can you tell difference between 1080 and 4K appletv?

The 4K version has a fan on the bottom. I don’t think the Original one had this.

Apple used it for diagnostic services, but hackers used it to jailbreak the devices. If I had to guess Apple removed it so that would be harder.

Thats a fair reason, but one i would disagree with.... I used USB-C to connect it to iTunes to restore in cases doing a restore directly on the device, failed. You can always ague this point on 4K too.
