How can you tell difference between 1080 and 4K appletv?

    Is there physical any difference between the two devices?

    Where in settings do you see which one it is?

    The 4K version has a fan on the bottom. I don’t think the Original one had this.

    The 4K also has no usb-c port but the 1080p does.

    why does the 1080 have a usb-c port not the 4k one?

    Apple used it for diagnostic services, but hackers used it to jailbreak the devices. If I had to guess Apple removed it so that would be harder.

    Thats a fair reason, but one i would disagree with.... I used USB-C to connect it to iTunes to restore in cases doing a restore directly on the device, failed. You can always ague this point on 4K too.
