I am running the latest OSX Sierra and OSX server on a 2012 mac mini over a ethernet network. My router is a Time Capsule and is connected to a cable modem. I have file sharing and cacheing turned on. All users are local to their mac.

I recently updated to the latest OSX, but I could swear it seems like each mini is still downloading its own version from the internet. Is there anyway to see when OSX server is actually saving you bandwidth and updating from the local server?

In server app go to logs and open coaching service log.

In caching settings it will show how much of what type data is stored

In performance it will show bandwidth graphs
