How can you use dvd+rw??

In windows its called packet writing, where you can use a rewritable cd/dvd and drag/drop files on a disc or delete them if you want. How can you do this on a mini? I have Toast, but dont see anything about formatting the dvd like you would have to in windows.

So far as I know, there aren't any Mac apps that support packet writing. Maybe I'm wrong, but I haven't heard mention of support for it in anything, including Toast.
