I have a new macbook pro i5, and the question is if it is possible to change the configuration of what programs will use the nvidia gpu. This is, because I have some writing program that really dont need the nvidia gpu, and the mac use it innecesarily.

And other one, the mac is so hot when I am running a game, is this usual?

    thanks,
    (sorry about my bad english)

AFAIK, you can't change it. The apps that force 330M needs to be updated so they don't

Computer makes more calculations when gaming, more calculation = more heat. Yes it's normal.

Install gfxCardStatus and switch it manually... until the update...
