My kid goes to an iPad school I.e th kids do everything on their iPads using notability, iCloud etc. they type, draw, create slides and annotate passages on the iPads in class. On,y use the MB for long form paper writing using google drive.

I think if the new Pro pencil can mimic real writing it will be a great success in schools and colleges where iPads are common.

Has anyone tried it at an Apple event and can comment on its precision?

by all intents and purposes its getting absolutely fabulous reviews. best stylus out there by a long way.

you've only a week to wait and see for yourself.

From what I've seen from Apple's Pencil video and from others posted on YouTube, the Apple Pencil is a very accurate and precise stylus.

Looks to be the closest in the market now to the real experience, so I expect it to be really good.

I don't think anyone who's tried it is going to reply here, but the reason people are so optimistic is that we've seen a couple reports where users say that it's as good as or better than a Cintiq, which is the current industry-standard pen input hardware. I think we'll see plenty of reviews by artists and students within the first week after launch.

I hope so. It will b very helpful and maybe save some trees :)
