How come App Store on iPhone doesn't show previously purchased apps? On iPad, it does

On iPad, it's very convenient to be able to see which apps you have previously purchased. So why can't you see the same on iPhone? Its App Store is no different. I don't get it. 😕

Good question, maybe they'll update that with the upcoming iOS upgrades.
Apple tends to leave out features and adds them later.

Hope they add this functionality in future updates.
