How come my mbp wont wake from sleep?

Its a 2010 april mbp....any help would be deeply appreciated!

Do you use a bluetooth mouse/keyboard? I have been having the same issues with my 2010 iMac. The only way I can get it to turn on is to press the power button.

Also, you're sure that the battery is at an acceptable charge level to turn the unit back on?

Very basic, but is the battery run all the way down?
