How Come X-Code doesn't update through software updater

Why do i have to login at the ADV to get the new SDK and IDE. it makes alot more sense to just send them via software update http://www.plurk.com/p/lj5ye

Good point, but XCode updates are usually the physical application needing downloaded again - not just minor bits and bobs. That's why it's usually over 1GB, because you have to download the whole application again.

Maybe Apple needs to look into better ways to update XCode..?

Agreed. Would be nice even to have a notification of an Xcode update via software update.
