how comes iphone shows 3g.....

    hi guys, im not a mobile network engineer or anything, so just a wondering question.....

    i have a nokia work phone that either shows standard bars, a 3g symbol or a h symbol.

    how comes the iphone only goes up to 3g????? does the iphone not support the h?

    sorry if its a stupid question..... just wondered :)

    The iPhone doesn't differentiate between HSDPA and (plain) UTMS. But the 3GS does support it.

    should of said i have a 3gs iphone but never had a "h" symbol :confused:

    or does the iphone not have one?

    As far as I know it doesn't have one. It has a • for GPRS E for Edge and 3G for UTMS and HSDPA.

    wanted to make sure i was getting the best i could out of o2
