I got mine in April this year, and it has had a few issues like kernel panics, at least 10-15 times since I got it (but not in the last month) and I use it daily. I have purchased Apple Care+, so I'm wondering if I should just finally go and exchange it for a new one. If so, does anyone have experience regarding how long that usually takes? And does Apple give you a replacement laptop while you wait?

Also, the volume "stutters" sometimes while in Logic Pro, so I think my speakers may be faulty, but it's hard to say, since I make music all the time, and my mbp is almost always connected to an external sound card and speakers/headphones, and the issue only occurs when I make music in Logic Pro and am using the mbp speakers...

My mbp 16 has the i9 2.3, 5500 4gb, 32gb ram and 1tb ssd, if that helps.

The only kernel panics I had were related to the sleep/power nap bug when plugged-in. Other than that they never had any issues when actually working.

Sorry, this is what I meant. I also had this sleep/power nap bug, and it is really annoying. I thought it's a kernel panic, my bad...

Yea if it starts to get worse I'd bring it in and try to replicate the issues. I had the kernel panics and sleep bug but it got to the point where I couldn't even use the Mac at all when I needed to at work, and I'm always on the go. It started slow and I could work around the issue. I think it eventually started crashing/shutting down while using it. Thankfully Apple eventually replaced the logic board.

It did take a few tries to replicate the issue at the Genius Bar since they needed to do their wipes and troubleshooting steps. All looked fine until I was about to leave, it finally showed the problems. I also got that volume stutter and speaker popping as well, even just with youtube.

However now I'm dealing with the usual dGPU hotness and fans blazing that others are reporting. Which I didn't seem to have a problem with beforehand, but it works and I'll deal with it for now.
