I saw quite a few people with the new mbp showing small imperfections in the outer shell scratches paint chips and the like. I wondered how common the was for new mbps?
perfect reply!Except for the $2000 price tag, the 14" I received recently is perfect. Zero issues.
Hello tormac,Apple sells millions of MacBooks every year. If say even 1% of them had these kinds of issues, it would be a MAJOR news story and every media outlet in the world would be all over it.
You are posting this on an enthusiast forum where only the most passionate Mac people post (happy or sad). There are millions (hundreds of millions?) of people who are using their Apple product every day and have never heard of MacRumors.
Any poll you do here is completely unreflective of reality.
Oh absolutely. I wasn't trying to be rude, apologies if it came across that way. Polls like this are fun and discussing this is why we're here.Hello tormac,
Thanks for your reply.
I would say you are probably right to an extent.
But if you want to survey people who own macbook pros then, a mac book pro forum where people are discussing their mac book pros would seem like a good place to start.
This is not supposed to be a scientific survey just getting an idea from some people who have a mac book pro.
Cheers!
paint chips
I was under the impression this wasn't possible, as the aluminium is anodised to get its colour (or is 'natural') instead of painted.
This is a perfect example of response bias.I saw quite a few people with the new mbp showing small imperfections in the outer shell scratches paint chips and the like. I wondered how common the was for new mbps?
