How common is it to get dead pixels on a Macbook?

I'm just curious because I HATE dead pixels.

I've had my macbook for over a year now and still don't have a single dead pixel. 🙂

With today's technology in producing screens (all kinds), very unlikely. The last time I had a dead pixel was on a Compaq laptop - vintage 1990. One of the first models to have an active matrix screen. Remember those days? 😛
