Click to expand... The chipping is caused by the contact from the lugs when you’re sliding the band in and out. It’s the one downside to the 7000 Series aluminum. Reactions: twanj and nikkisharif

Is this common if you change the band frequently? Click to expand... The SG aluminum I owned had the same marks & I’ve seen them on numerous others. The aluminum is more prone to nicks. If they bother you, stainless is definitely the way to go. Reactions: twanj
