I'm about to buy my first ever Mac - a 14" Space Black M5 Pro MacBook Pro. I plan to keep a microSD card permanently plugged in. I'm going to buy a microSD adapter so that everything is flush with the MacBook case and have my eye on this one - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CGRJXB6K/
The description says that the finish is "Space Black" but it also describes it as being for the "2021 M1 MacBook Pro". The "2022 M2 / 2023 M3 / 2024 M4" MacBook Pros are also mentioned as being compatible in the description so I'm not expecting any electrical issues but I just wanted to check that the Space Black colour/shade has remained pretty much consistent across the years.
The adapter that I'm considering was presumably (based on the headline description) designed to colour-match perfectly with the 2021 (M1) version of Space Black. Does that mean that it is likely to still be a perfect match for the Space Black on a 2025 MacBook Pro or has the shade of black that Apple calls "Space Black" changed slightly over the years so maybe the match won't be as good with a 2025 MacBook as it was with the 2021 MacBook that this adapter was designed for?
It's not a huge deal but I wanted to check so that I know what to expect.
