How could Apple be any worse at this point?

I am fu**ing done with Apple at this point.

My Apple ID has been locked out twice in the last 6 months. Did you realize that ONE missed password entry on a Apple TV or ipad will cause your account to get disabled? Yeah, happened twice.

Wouldn't be a big deal if I could unlock the account by contacting Apple, or doing something online. Oh no, that would be too simple. You have to go to to unlock your account, and it takes DAYS.

    Totally unacceptable.

And then lets add in the discontinuation of the mag-safe power adapter, the discontinuation of the wireless routers and time machine, the cancellation of dozens of business products and software solutions, etc. and you have a company that has turned its tools into toys.

The SJW clown that runs Apple should be sh** canned. Jobs has to be turning over in his grave seeing the direction the company is going.

Never again. Lost customer I am (after 25 years).

I think you might need to speak to Apple about this. I have never had my account locked out, and I have got the password wrong a few times on my Apple TV (cant quite get used to entering my password using that remote), as well as the iPhone a few times - when it does a password check and not use Touch ID.

I have also changed my password, which then caused the password prompt on all my devices to come up again and again - few times I got it wrong and never got locked out.

Do you have 2-step authentication turned on? If not it might cause more lockouts - I have always used two step. Just for context I use my iCloud account for everything, file sync, photo sync and emails, so I'm always using it and never had a problem.

Also, with the wireless routers, I don't believe that they have been discontinued so-to-speak. I think that some of the reports have blown this out of proportion. Apple have relocated the AirPort team. AirPort and Timecapules are still for sale in Apple Stores, 3rd party resellers and other means - which implies they are still being manufactured to the current version. It might be that they are not going to change the hardware for the foreseeable. In comparison Apple did announce they are getting out of the display market, which was announced, and as such all Apple Displays were removed from sale.

I have a new MacBook Pro and I must admit I did like the mag safe, but this isn't so much of a sticking point. Yes it is good when you accidentally pull on the adapter, however the idea is not to pull on the cord at all, so its the case of treating the the laptop like any other in the market. I believe they have done it to simplify the design and technology, also allows you to charge from any port which I find quite helpful, gets the cable out of the way when using a mouse on that side of the laptop.

Just my thoughts, I'm not a avid Apple "fanboy", use the OS and technology as it does all work together and is generally less hassle than Android or Windows. I think the best thing is to choose the technology that fits the budget, use and ecosystem you prefer rather than picking a brand because its a brand.

OK, in Apple's defense, I called in and the technician corrected the problem right then and there, which was good.

It is the two-factor authentication that is the problem. I turned that off, and haven't had an issue since.
