How could you restore OSX Mail 'back to the future' w/ time machine

The reason is that I am restoring back to 1 year+ back and I want to restore all my current Mail emails/files/ and every bits for Mail.

Which would be the best option handling this?

Mail keeps in Mail boxes in /YourHardDrive/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MailBoxes/whatever you want to get.
