Was just sitting in the garden and wondered what people were up to?

It's 5pm here now so the day is coming towards an end but so far I got up and had some cheese on toast, which was followed by a group of friends coming over and we headed out swimming. (We haven't done this for at least a year so it was quite a big thing for us lol).

Then we went down to a pub and watched the Grand Prix, this was the first time we'd seen it at a pub which is really good fun.

Then the rest of the afternoon has been sat in shorts in the garden half sunbathing and half editing some video

What has the rest of MR been up to?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; PPC; 320x320) Opera 8.65 [en])

I am watching my brother graduate from college...VP Biden delivered the big speech (he's at Syracuse).

Moving out from my apartment to go back home for the summer as classes have ended. That, and celebrating mothers day :)

Happy mothers day to all the moms on MR!

Just woke up.

1 pm here

Celebrating mothers day then heading back downtown to get ready for my first day back at work tomorrow.

Dog walking early this morning...

Watched the F1

Mowed the lawn

Watched the end of the Le Mans Spa race

About to watch the World SuperBikes.

Woke up at 12:30 after many heavy early morning L4D matches (bed at 5am, heh). Mini pizza, coke and some chocolate fingers for dinner whilst watching Black Books on DVD. Floated around talking with various family members. Back to Black Books. Tea (roast chicken with a garlic and lemon sauce :)) and a Dime cake for dessert.
And here I am!

Might do some work later but then its back to Left4Dead.

I pulled hardboard of an old door and stripped it back to it's former glory. Then I made a Spanish omelette (sp?) about to devour with fresh asparagus yum!

I have that to do too. But it was sunny today.
So I, er, sat inside watching motorsport for most of the day...

At a hillclimb... but... unfortunatly on the way out... as I was in a Lotus Elan, we were lower than the person in front of us' back window... he did not see us, and reversed straight into the front of us... Flattening the front end.. (It's only fiberglass!!)... no one was hurt apart from the car.. So.. after calling home to get my trailer out to bring it home... we eventually got it on the trailer and got it back.. I brought it off at home, and the back right wheel came off... it turns out that the spinner on that wheel had become dangerously loose  and then eventually fallen off... (Just think what would have happened if it had come off when we were driving...)

Oh well.... crap day...

Was taken out to breakfast first thing in the morning by my husband and 2 boys in honor of Mother's Day  Later on heading over to the mother-in-law's house for even more Mother's Day celebrations.

Sometime before then I'm hoping to squeeze in a lengthy nap :D

Went to church. Afterwards the family went out to celebrate Mothers Day with an excellent brunch. Now I am getting ready to do some touch up painting around the house.

You and me both. I didn't get much sleep to start with but it's now 23:30ish and I'm wired. Heh, productive night ahead I guess :).

Eventful day

Made the wife breakfast in bed, gave her a good mothers day present, ( white MacBook with case and Logictech wireles mouse).

Then we went and played tennis for an hour or so.

Took the kids to visit my Mom for and hour or so.

But, since my B'day was friday, I spent a large part of the day enjoying the best B'day present I ever got, a 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport! ( You could have knocked me over with a feather!) :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I went to King Soopers at 5AM to buy some flowers to bring to my parents graves. Came home and surfed awhile. Left to go to the cemetary at 7.30. It started raining on my way there. Got home about 9.30 and went to bed. I woke up at 7.30PM and now I'm cold and just laying here still.
