How do beta updates happen?

Hi Guys,

So I'm on iOS7 beta 1 atm and I'm just wondering how the next beta will need to be updated too. Do they usually appear in the settings app as an OTA update or do they have to be downloaded and installed manually through iTunes?

They could do either or, and they could ask for your devolper account information, so if you dont have one your phone will be bricked/partilly bricked.
