thats just a pretty well known $45 voice+data plan with a $10 retention valupack. its still around, but the $45 plan has been reduced to 100min, and MY5 option now local instead of nationwide.
the best thing for anyone who wants to improve their plan is by calling retentions directly.

I agree. ATT in US needs a lower data tier for lighter users. $30
is overpriced for a data plan. But Verizon and ATT will not start a price war since between them they own (control) most of the market.
I think the OP just made this thread to really gloat about the 300 gigs of data he has.
We should title this thread... "What would you do with 300 gigs of data?".
I would keep the phone tethered 24x7 to a computer running as a router, and download all day. would be better than the BS going on with our ISPs in canada and the 50-60GB caps theyve imposed.
even rogers, does promotion for $30/6gig, otherwise cheapest is $25/500MB
it would be nice to see $10/15/20 options that would give you even 100-250MB, but it'll never happen. Rogers,AT&T or whoever know that 99% of users probably don't even hit 100MB/month a $10 option will result in most data users reducing $20 from their monthly bill.
uh Rogers does have "$10/15/20 options that would give you even 100-250MB" apparently. Call Retentions....I believe $15 get 150 mb?
Are these options for everyday consumers or something only available through retentions?
I'll end up getting an iPhone next year, probably when the next update is released. I'll end up going with Fido since I'll get:
$35 Voiceplan
- 350 Minutes, billed by the second
- Unlimited Evenings and Weekends starting at 7PM
- Unlimited Text Messages Sent
- Text Messages received are free
- No System Access fee/911 fee
- Call Waiting
- Conference Calling
$30 Data Plan/6GB per month (they should have this deal again)
That doesn't seem to bad to me for $65 a month.
My plan includes 6GB of data per month.
Me too.
Quite honestly I think AT&T in the US is far worse overall. We (in Canada) were given tethering (for free) the day Apple released the update. We also got MMS out of the box. Rogers is also pretty reliable (granted, it has poor coverage when you're outside of a city, but contrary to popular belief we're not all farmers, fishermen, or from rural Quebec!).
More generally, I'm starting to think this thread was made simply to troll...
