Oryan macrumors 6502a Apr 19, 2006 #2 Based on this thread, I would suggest using disk utility (Applications > Utilities) to erase the disk. I've never used CDRWs so I can't confirm this.

I've never used CDRWs so I can't confirm this. Click to expand... You are correct. Disk Utilites is the way to go. Click on the Disc in the left band menu, hit the erase tab and there ya go.
