What software do you have (aperture, lightroom, photoshop, gimp . . .). Search for "(software name) watermark" on google and you will find tutorials that can help you.

On export, Aperture gives you the ability to add a watermark to your photos. The watermark itself needs to be an image of some sort, but you can control the placement and opacity.

When exporting, select your desired Export Preset then drop down to the end of that list and choose 'Edit...'
