I've begun using Apple Maps for driving directions (iOS 8 broke Garmin USA and I don't like Google Maps).

I'm trying to save some addresses and destinations that I go to often into "Favorites" which appears when you tap the search bar. However, I don't see any way to add a recent route, address or POI to it. Anybody know how? Thanks in advance.

You can favorite locations, not routes. Follow in order:

Screen 1 --> Tap the label
Screen 2 --> Tap the menu box in upper right corner
Screen 3 --> Select favorites

This is a feature I've only made use of recently because of how obscure it is. If they added an 'Add to favourites' button on the location details (2nd screen shot above) it'd probably be used a lot more widely.

Kind of on topc here, these don't sync between iOS devices yet do they? What's the easiest way to send my Maps Favorites from iPad to iPhone?

Use iCloud backups - mine are synced.

Great. Mine did sync, it just was a little slow I guess. When i didn't see it at first, I did a search and everything I found talked about them not syncing. But that was all pretty old info.

Thanks
