How do I backup only my OS hard drive in Time Machine?

When I turn on time machine it says in the options 'Estimated size of full backup: 860.44 GB'

But I only want to back up my OS SSD which is 78 GB.

Can you please help?

Exclude your home folder and applications folder (click on the options button in the time machine preference pane)

Hi,

I want those folders backed up. I just don't want the other internal hard drive backup up which is 782 GB.

Thanks I worked it out. I just had to drag the hard drive into the Exclude window.

Add that drive to your exclusion list as maflynn described.
