How do i change my HDD icon?

Says it all in the title really, how do i change it to a iMac. I see loads of people with them on here. Also how do i type the apple logo? 😀

highlight the drive in the finder, hit command-i, in the top left you'll see the icon. If you select it, you can paste another picture over it by copying and pasting.

typing here or in Word or something?

Find an icon you want to replace it with.
Right click it, 'Get Info', + C
Right click you HDD, 'Get Info', + P

You could also download Candy Bar.


There's an icon for the Apple Logo, or Option+Shift+K = ?.

Awesome, sorry i should of said this in the first post. Where is a good place to get iMac icons as well? and i just want to type on the desktop somewhere.
