Use Magic Erasers by Mr. Clean. Avoid using it on the trackpad and rub the keys very slowly.

Get a bottle of windex and a soft towel. It cleans the entire macbook flawlessly. I wouldn't say I've had 100's of mucus dots but from time to time you need to scrub at them a little. I have used plain old windex for a streak free display, clean aluminum, and grease free keyboard! Also this is the cheapest solution as you could get 100s of cleanings from a bottle of windex and a towel for what like 4 bucks? WINDEX FTW!

damp soft cloth seems to work fine for mine. for quick spots on the aluminum i use a bit of spit. cleans it perfectly

I like cleaning my keyboard keys almost daily on my MB. Is there a way to temporary disable the keys so that I can wipe it down instead of having to power off the machine?

I use a damp micro fibre cloth, which removes all sorts. Then I use a nice clean dry one to buff it up. Comes up like new every time. There is nothing like good ole fashion water and it's cheap. Works on most things especially windows, stainless steels oven and hobs, especially good for cleaning cars. Try it and see for yourself.

a program called Keyboard Cleaner i think it is. basically disables your keyboard until you enter a specific combination in to exit it.

i just wet the cloth that came with it, and use that for everything on my uMB. once the cloth dries i wipe over again and that clears any streaks on the screen that the water left when it dried.

Same thing for my external monitor as well. The little cloth is just a microfibre cloth, so there's no need to go out and buy another.
