How do I clean the older MBP's grill?

Bits of dead skin, food, rat droppings and what not have fallen into the grill on either side of my laptop. What's the best way to get them out? I don't have tweezers that small to fish them out. I'm gonna try using my household vacuum on it.

ifixit is a website that will show you how to take it apart. Take off the top part of the case and shake everything out.
