How do I configure my mouse

I have a Logitech VX Revolution, and I was wondering how I can configure the buttons on the side to do what I like.

I'm also running on a MBP.

Logitech Control Center or SteerMouse.

I find the former fine for my needs, however, Snow Leopard might require you to use the latter.
