Hey guys,

I'm new to this so bear with me. I wanna connect my MacBook Pro to a Bose system through the optical digital audio on the MBP. How would i go about doing this? Do I need extra cables? If so, which ones?

this is the Bose system I have at home

lol....is it even possible to hook up the MBP to this? 😕

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

If your Bose supports optical, then it will work. However, you need an adapter that will take the optical cord and go inside the headphone jack on the MBP.
