I am running Appleworks 6.2.9, and I am trying to create a Comma Seperated Values (CSV) file, for use as a contacts file, so I can have everyone I know in one little file. Then hopefully I can import it into whatever contacts list I am using (e-mail, address book on mac, ipod) and update the original file whenever i need. But i cant seem to do it, i thought there would be an option in the 'save as' window but there ain't. If i cant do this, is there any other type of file i can use ? (Gmail seems to only accept csv's).

Thanks

Maclink Plus can do the conversion.

If this little project isn't worth $80, the Appleworks built-in ASCII export (tab-delimited text) may be a good starting point. Python has a little CSV module that looks like it could do 99% of the work.
