How do I disable "always on top" for the dock? Or, at least If I can make firefox window go over the dock somehow..

I don't like autohide, I want the dock available the rest of the time.

System Preferences --> Dock --> Automatically hide and show the dock

read the post, said that they didn't want to use autohide. ;)

but that being said, other than using autohide, the dock remains on top. its the way the dock functions.

sorry..I got my edit in before you answered. I wish the dock to be there the rest of the time. I want firefox fullscreen because I have a small monitor.

That would make the Dock almost unusable. Each time you'd want open a new app, you'd have to minimize everything to see it again. I suggest just doing auto hide. I don't think it's possible to keep it below all other apps, unless there's some utility out there that'll do it.

Or while in Firefox you can enable Auto Hide Dock via Cmd + Option/Alt + D.
And when you change to another application you just use that command again to show your dock.

Make the dock autohide.

But also make it as miniscule as possible, as small as you can get it.

And the turn on magnification.

Is the only thing I can think of to get a useable dock, as well as having screen real estate.
