iPod touch How do I disable the rocker buttons for volume?

Hey! I dropped my iTouch and now the DOWN button for volume seems to be stuck. I tried respringing/restarting it but it's still constantly putting the volume to zero.

How can i disable the rocker buttons?

Any help would be appreciated!

There is no option for that in iOS (because quite frankly, who would need it). There might be a tweak for it if you jailbreak though.

Personally I'd be tempted to pop the back off the iPod and try prodding the rocker switch to see if it will go back to normal.

i actually ripped the entire rocker button off the iTouch because of how annoying it was

is there a software option that would disable them? an app of some sort?
