iPod touch How do I dl the iPod Touch Apps?

I know it sounds daft, but whenever I click on the link for say Hangman, it opens the app in Safari but does not download it.

I got my iPod Touch today and am very excited, really enjoying using it haven't even listened to music yet.

You must be talking about those web apps. They are only meant to be played in Safari and they can't be downloaded to your Touch.
