How do I downgrade my software? from 2.1>

All the updates have done nothing but good for my iphone....except 2.1! I cant stand it- no service all the time, keyboard lags more than ever, batt life way worse. Anyway to get the firmware just before 2.1? Thanks,

It's for Windows, but everything is the same except you hold OPTION while pressing the button, I think (if it works correctly, you get a window prompting you to pick a file, if not you don't).

You can find the old firmware pretty easily by Google searching.
