I have an IP5 and got caught up in the hoopla over 7. I want to get back to 6. It's fast, doesn't make me sick, and just plain works.

Can I do a DFU restore? Any link or instructions appreciated, esp. from someone who has gone back to 6 on the 18th or later.

Edit - Sorry for misleading post, I thought they had stopped signing iOS 6.

You can downgrade if the iOS 6 window is still open, just go and download the iOS 6 IPSW and restore it via itunes, if an error pops up that means Apple stopped signing ios 6

Download the 6.1.4 IPSW file and hold option key and click restore on iTunes and install that file.

    Great info, guys, thanks!

Has anyone successfully downgraded on or after the 18th?

Is there any danger of bricking my phone if the restore does not work?

Here's a site where you can check if Apple is still signing iOS 6. Seems that the window is still open.

And no, you won't brick your phone. It will just error out and kick you in recovery mode.

Thanks again everyone. I'll use 7 for another day and if I still have motion sickness issues with it, I'll downgrade to 6.
