How do I eject a pen drive from a macBook Pro with Retina.

How do I eject a pen drive from a macBook Pro with Retina. When I drag the pendrive to ther trash I receive a message that I need to ejct it properly. How do I remove the pen drive safely.🙂

Dragging to the trash should be fine... Or, you can try right-clicking it and select eject...

In the finder sidebar you should see an triangle, click on that
